Note: While this review will be spoiler free, it may make reference to previous books. We start Magic Binds off with Kate and Curran asking Roman, aka the black volhv, to officiate said nuptials. On the other side of things, Kate and her father are still on a very precarious edge. Roland goes a bit too far when he kidnaps Saiman. We all know that the future is quite malleable, so Kate does what she can to change the outlook. Kate will look for guidance from a somewhat unexpected, yet ultimately delightful place.
During the beta first read, it became apparent that there is some confusion about how many books will be in Kate Daniels series and who they feature. ALL of these books feature Kate as protagonist. Again, just to be sure: none of these books will be written from view point of other characters. This is all Kate. There is only one book that features a different character: Gunmetal Magic, which stars Andrea. There is a number of novellas and short stories told from the point of view of other characters, but no full novels.
